Bangladeshi citizens and expatriates have joined hands to support children in Gaza’s war-torn Sheikh Radwan area, providing food and psychological assistance. The initiative, led by Bangladeshi students in Egypt, is funded by locals and carried out by My Development Organization and HMBD Foundation.

Through Gaza’s Tamara home school, 150 children receive meals along with psychotherapy and counseling to help them recover from the trauma of war. Despite restrictions at the Egypt–Gaza border, the NGOs operate a “Central Kitchen” delivering weekly cooked meals to over 300 families, and have supplied clean water to 1,000 families.

HMBD Foundation's Executive Director, Ahmad Zubair Mahdi, said, "We have witnessed the endless suffering of the people of Palestine, especially in Gaza, through news and social media. In response, we established contact with volunteers on the ground and have been regularly sending aid to them."
